Many photographers are beginning to show off their work via slideshows and an easy way to do this on your website or blog happens to utilize proshow gold and youtube. “How’s this done?” you ask? well….
I’m going to assume you know how to create a slideshow using proshow gold, thus, once this is completed you’ll need to “Create” your slideshow as a video. With the newest version of Proshow Gold (V. 3.2) they’ve included a nifty button to upload to youtube with the click of a mouse…I’m also going to assume you don’t have proshow gold v. 3.2. In that case follow these steps, if you do have the newest version scroll down to step 2.
step 1. Creating your slideshow as a video (proper format..)
Create>Video File (or for you short-cut junkies Ctrl+Alt+V)
In the pop-up box you’ll need to make several selections (see image below..)

Save your video file on the desktop to easily find it later…
Step 2. Youtube
Assuming once again that you have a Youtube account (if not – it’s free) Upload your video from your desktop to youtube (in step one we made sure to have a compatible format.)
Users with V.3.2 or Higher – begin HERE
once uploaded, tagged, etc. youtube will give you an embed code. (see image below) copy and paste this for your wordpress blog entry.

Step 3. WordPress
Though this can be done with many different sites, I primarily use WordPress and therefore so goes this tutorial.
Open up a new post (dashboard>write>post) Title your post and click on “Code”. there should be a small “i” in your toolbar – click it. now you can paste your embed code we copied earlier from youtube – after copying, click that same little “i” which now looks like this “/i”. (see image below)

if you do not wish to add text to your post you may click Save and/or publish and viola! You’ve got a youtube slideshow of your own images embeded into your site.
